Welcome to Lighthouse Studios.
Established in Stirling in 2003, we are a family-run photography business, run by award-winning photographer Seppi Preston LMPA. We supply high quality, professional yet relaxed photography to families, schools and nurseries throughout Scotland.
We are registered with SchoolPhotoPRO, whose photographers adhere to a strict Code of Conduct. We hope to soon gain our accreditation with them where school photographers must also provide evidence that they are competent in their chosen field(s) of school photography and their customers are happy with the service they provide.

We have achieved recognition for our work from the Master Photographers Association on many occasions, with several high profile awards - Scottish Family Photographer of the Year 2008, UK Family Photographer of the Year Finalist and many other portrait and wedding photography awards. Seppi is keen to ensure that any photography carrying the Lighthouse brand is of a certain high standard, hence extensive training is offered to all employees.

Our Staff
All employees are reference checked and enhanced disclosure Scotland checks can be provided. All our employees have certain qualities in common: they are patient, can cope under pressure, and get on with children (most are parents themselves) as well as being talented photographers.
Experience at Working with Children
We currently photograph children daily from birth onwards throughout Scotland: in nurseries and schools, in our studio and in soft plays where we have photography contracts.
Equipment and Insurance
All of our photography equipment is of the highest professional standard.
Every piece of equipment is PAT tested, allowing peace of mind in terms of health and safety to each nursery.
Lighthouse hold £2m of public and £75k of product liability insurance as well as £10m employers’ liability.
Print Quality
We use professional photography labs, which specialise in nursery and school photography. They were selected primarily on print quality and high levels of service.
